Foundation for Internet Development

The Foundation for Internet Development was formed by ZACR (formally UniForum SA), ISPA, WAPA and ISOC-ZA to provide a mechanism for ICT industry players that want to make a meaningful contribution in terms of Enterprise and Supplier Development, but do not have the capacity, nor the platform to do so themselves.

The purpose of the initiative is to consolidate the Enterprise and Supplier Development efforts of the ICT industry. The aim is to maximise the impact of contributions and activities in pursuit of answering the call for economic development. Our Objective is to unite the ICT industry’s efforts in the development of resources and skills in accordance with the Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) Code in order to broaden the impact.

We believe in creating powerful and sustainable partnerships to drive the processes and make a success of the projects we embark on.
