Films and Publications Update for ISPs

Session description:

The aim of the Film and Publication Board is to provide consumer advice to enable adults to make informed viewing, reading and gaming choices for both themselves and the children in their care. As well as the publication of a detailed policy plan to address online content, the FPB has also been involved with a tariff review. Changes to the Films and Publications Act to deal with online content were the subject of lively debate during recent parliamentary hearings. Tholoana Ncheke, the FPB’s Legal Officer will give some insights on these developments and how they will impact the Internet sector.
