National Internet Governance Forum Opening Ceremony

Session description:

The Department of Telecommunications and Postal Services (DTPS) in collaboration with ISOC-Gauteng, the SACF and the hosts of iWeek, is convening a National Internet Governance Forum (IGF) as part of iWeek.

Internet Governance Forums (or IGFs) are an important mechanism for  industry, civil society and government to talk to each other about how the Internet is governed, regulated and developed. National, regional and global IGFs are supported by the United Nations, as part of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS).
