David is a systems architect at Domain Name Services (DNS). He is responsible for the high availability and load-balanced systems, redundant network design and management, design and implementation of the DevOps infrastructure and the project leader of the DNSSEC implementation for the .ZA zone and the ZA SLD’s.
David was instrumental in the CO.ZA migration to the modern EPP system, and managed the migration of the ORG.ZA, WEB.ZA and NET.ZA zone to ZACR and the .ZA zone file to ZADNA.
David was one of the co-authors of the ICANN gTLD applications for .capetown, .joburg, .durban and .africa and continues to manage ICANN technical compliance.
