Archive: Ewan Sutherland

Ewan Sutherland is an independent telecommunication policy analyst.

He is a research associate of the LINK Centre at the University of the Witwatersrand and also of the CRID at the University of Namur.

He has previously worked in a number of universities in the United Kingdom, latterly as a dean in the University of Wales. Ewan taught business policy and ICTs.

From 1999 to 2005 he was Executive Director of INTUG, the International Telecommunication Users Group. He represented INTUG at the European institutions, at the OECD, at APECTEL and at the ITU.

Ewan has undertaken a number of international projects for InfoDev, for ITU-Development and  ITU-T Standardisation Sector, OECD and for national authorities.
