Mark has worked for e-Schools’ Network since April 2008 until current whilst also currently being on the management committee for WAPA as the ICT Chair.
When Mark joined eSN he worked as a developer working on in-house tools and websites, especially for our biennial teachers’ conference.
Mark showed great commitment to his work and when we needed a new technical manager he was our obvious choice. This promotion was in August 2013. We set him a list of goals to achieve and he did these with enthusiasm and self-development and quickly settled into the position of technical manager.
Marks main tasks are:
- Maintaining the internal network
- Maintaining two linux/unix mail servers
- Managing the helpdesk
- The same responsibilities as when I was the developer
- High level support for clients
- Finding, implementing or creating new tools for office use.
Mark has proved himself to be a committed member of our team who is able to learn through problem solving and self-development. He is well like by the other members of the team and is a valuable member of eSN.
