Update on Online Content Regulations

Session description:

The aim of the Film and Publication Board is to provide consumer advice to enable adults to make informed viewing, reading and gaming choices for both themselves and the children in their care. In the last eighteen months, we have seen both the development of a detailed policy plan to address online content, and parliamentary debates on amendments to the Films and Publications Act which would, among other things, provide new mechanisms for the legal distribution of adult content online. In this session, the FPB’s Legal Officer will provide an update on these developments and how they are likely to affect the WASP sector.
