Indra de Lanerolle - Network Society Project Director


Indra is a Visiting Research Associate at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, where he leads the South African Network Society Project. He is a member of the World Internet Project, the largest network of Internet researchers covering over thirty countries, coordinated by the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Southern California. He has lectured and presented papers and talks on the Internet in Africa at the Universities of Oxford, Harvard and Lisbon. He has over twenty years experience working in television, film, print and online and was formerly a Senior Producer at the BBC.
