Elvina earned her Bachelor of Commerce and postgraduate law degrees at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, in Pietermaritzburg. She then started her articles of clerkship at a boutique law firm in Rosebank, where she gained valuable experience in both civil and criminal litigation as well as various aspects of commercial law. Upon completion of her articles, she was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court in 2010. She has been part of the Legal and Policy department at the ZA Central Registry since 2013 and is responsible for stakeholder and contract management, as well as policy and regulatory compliance.
