Pierre joined ICANN in December 2012, as the VP for Africa. He coordinates implementation of ICANN’s strategic plan for Africa and is responsible for outreach, support and engagement with all stakeholders, including governments, civil society and private sector in the Africa region. Prior to joining ICANN, Pierre was a Regional Advisor for the UNDP; he brings with him close to 20 years experience in the field of ICT for development, eGovernance and knowledge management.
