Juanita Clark - Co-founder and CEO: FTTH Council Africa


With almost 20 years’ experience in the Telecomms industry, and having worked at multiple technology layers in the telecommunications industry, Juanita Clark is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of the FTTH Council Africa, based in Midrand, South Africa.

The FTTH Council Africa is part of the international FTTH Council Global Alliance group and the African chapter was birthed in September 2010. Subsequently the Council has grown to 34 members with a vested interest in Fibre Optics in Africa.

The FTTH Council Africa works closely with industry and government alike, in an attempt to establish an effectively regulated environment through the development of best practises, standards and guidelines.

Juanita Clark is also co-founder of the Fibre Optic Association Africa, a society for fibre optic professionals with a core focus on skills development.
