Zororo Mavindidze is a Senior Researcher at the Freedom of Expression Institute in Johannesburg, South Africa. He has several years of research and project management experience in various capacities working within the private sector, government and civil society organizations in Southern Africa. He has published widely on range of development related issues and has particular interest in new and traditional media (including the internet) and human rights. Zororo is a graduate of the Africa School on Internet Governance and has a Master’s degree in Development Studies from the University of the Western Cape. He is also an Alumnus of the African Centres of Excellence programme, and a recipient of the German Academic Exchange Service award.
