Cybercrime and cybersecurity are major concerns for governments around the world. South Africa’s government has a number of legislative initiatives, including a wide-ranging cybercrimes bill. This session will examine international obligations and commitments on cybercrime, take a look at relevant pending legislation, review international regulatory trends, and highlight specific issues that ISPs need to be aware of and planning for.
