ISPA iCode workshop

Session description:

The iCode project was launched in South African in 2011 as a means of dealing with customers who have “zombie botnets” — machines infect with viruses, malware and trojans. The iCode sets out a framework for ISPs to assist customer in dealing with infected machines.

This workshop is intended to assess the iCode, examine ways of integrating the project more closely into South Africa’s developing cybersecurity strategy and brainstorming ways to encourage participation. It will be facilitated by ISPA’s Regulatory Advisor, Dominic Cull.
