Session description:

This is the fourth of four sessions hosted by ISOC and looking as aspects of Internet governance. This session will focus on ensuring a secure and trustworthy digital environment for the benefit of all South African citizens and businesses, and on promoting a coherent approach on cybersecurity. Topics to be debated by the panel include:

  • Africa declaration on cybersecurity
  • Cybersecurity and the Internet of things
  • Intellectual property protection and copyright
  • Mitigating cyberrisks in critical infrastructure: private and public
